Charles Ray Fulton

Services were held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 12 Noon from McClain-Hays Chapel. Interment was held in Lynville Cemetery in Preston, MS.

Charles Ray Fulton was born to George Russell and Ethel Teer Fulton in Philadelphia, Mississippi on November 4, 1944.  Ray was a Kemper County native and completed high school in Lynville.  He received a scholarship after high school to East Mississippi Community College and then graduated from Mississippi State University. He went on to get his PhD at the University of Mississippi and continued his post-doctoral work at the University of California at Los Angeles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margery Brown Fulton, his parents, and an identical twin brother, Thomas Clay.

He is survived by a sister, Peggy Fulton; brother, George Fulton; cousin Jackie Branning and friends Jerry Corless, Dr. Jim McAuley and Mike McLarty and many grateful previous students.
