Graveside service for Mrs. Brenda Porter Anderson was held at 3 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at New Harmony Cemetery with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.

Mrs. Anderson, 66, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her residence in Lumberton, MS. She lived in Rankin and Lamar Counties most of her life. She was a telephone operator. Gardening, flowers and painting was her hobbies. She was baptist by faith.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald Porter and Myrtle Smith Porter. Survivors: Husband, Wayne Anderson of Lumberton; Daughter, Portland Plyler of Mantachie, MS; Son, Michael Murray of Raleigh; Stepdaughter, Jennifer Carney (Daniel) of Hattiesburg; Stepsons,Tal Anderson (Christy) of Sumrall, Micah Anderson of Mosselle and Jeffery Anderson of Colorado; Sister, Judy Fisher of TN; Brothers, Terry Porter (Diane) of Florence and Randy Porter (Florence) of Richland; (3) Grandchildren; (8) Step-grandchildren; (2) Step-great-grandchildren.
