Willie Hickman, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Hickman, Jr. were held at 10 AM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with Rev. Doby Henry officiating. Interment was held in Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation was at 12 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hickman, 61, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and enjoyed playing guitar, stickball and fishing. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Hickman, Sr. and Gloria Mingo Hickman; sisters, Laura Ann Lewis and Debra Thames.

Survivors include companion, Rowena Willis; daughters, Gretchen Hickman, Rheannon Whitham; son, William Whitham; sisters, Louis Hickman, Melissa Bell, Teresa Anderson; brothers, Carl Hickman, Eric Hickman, David Hickman; 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Raymonel Hickman, Merle Henry, Auburn Jefferson, Stephen Lewis, Anselm Henry, Kinsey Henry, Brandon Baba, Leroy Richarte; honorary pallbearers are Charles Wilson, Bradley Alex and Benny Thompson.
