Willa Rigdon

Funeral services for Wilda Rigdon were held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. J. R. Eaton, Rev. James Young, and Rev. Joel Embrey officiating.  Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  

Mrs. Rigdon, 77, of Little Rock, died Saturday, March 5, 2022.

A native of the Duffy Community of Newton County, she lived in Neshoba County for most of her adult life.  She worked as a CNA for 35 years until retirement.   Mrs. Rigdon was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband, Ray Rigdon; daughter, Tawanna Holmes; sons, Tommy Rigdon, Virgil Rigdon; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, sisters, Debbie Messer, Syretha McCall; brothers, Kenneth Alexander, Carleton Alexander.

Preceding Mrs. Rigdon in death were grandson, Nolan Norris; parents, Ozell and Mary Alexander; sister, Ramona Alexander; brothers, J. B. Alexander, James Alexander, and Terry Alexander.
