Waddell heads toward Circuit Clerk win, unofficial returns show

Delana Waddell has won the Circuit Clerk race with 56.17 % of the vote, complete but unofficial results show.

Waddell had 2,300 votes to 1,791 votes for Grant Myers.

The totals include absentee ballots, and affidavit ballots will be counted Wednesday morning.

Turnout was slightly lower compared to the Republican Primary on Aug. 8, with 4,113 total votes this time.

Other Complete but unofficial results from the Republican Primary runoff elections indicate:

• Republican Mike Snow won the District 1 Supervisor race with 56.84%  of the vote, beating Shelby Beason 295 votes to 224.

•  District 3 Supervisor Kinsey Smith was hanging on with 592 votes to challenger Christopher C. Gardner's  590 votes.

The winner will face Independent challenger Colby Pope in November.

• Incumbent Republican Kevin Wilcher won the District 4 Supervisor race with 51.07 % of the vote, beating Gordon Adkins 526 votes to 503.

• Republican John Lilley won the Constable Place 1 Republican nomination with 1,389 votes to Patrick L. Burt’s 1,082 votes.

Lilley will face Independent challenger Cortez Peebles in November.
