Tornado sirens sounding off were test

The tornado sirens that sounded Tuesday morning were being serviced in preparation for the severe weather season, officials said.
“They are doing maintenance on the tornado sirens,” said Emergency Management Director Darrell Wilson.
County Administrator Jeff Mayo said that the clear weather this week was a good opportunity to perform maintenance and run tests to make sure they are functioning properly in anticipation for the upcoming severe weather season.
