Three shot near Leake County line

There are reports that Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark and deputies were on the scene on Road 402 near the Leake County line, where three people were shot.

Two were taken by helicopter to a Jackson hospital, and another was taken to a local hospital.

A brother and sister were reportedly involved in an altercation with a neighbor. The unidentified brother and sister were both struck by 9 mm rounds, according to the reports.

A third person, a neighbor, was struck with ammunition from a shotgun, according to the reports.

Neshoba SO responded to the shooting at about 7:15 p.m. on Friday, according to the reports.

Clark confirmed the reports in a post on social media late Friday.
