Funeral services for Rev. Thomas Mack “Tony” Roberts Jr, was held 2 PM Saturday March 18, 2023, at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson. Visitation was 5-8 PM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel and 11 AM – 2 PM Saturday, March 18, 2023 at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Mack “Tony” Roberts, Jr, was born on May 23, 1957, in Natchez, Mississippi, and left his earthly body on March 11, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. Over the course of his life, he served in the varied roles of music teacher, school principal, youth pastor, music director, pastoral assistant, assistant pastor, and lead pastor. In each role, he left his fingerprints on those who worked alongside him, and a deep love in their hearts for this extraordinary man. His loss leaves a void that will be felt for generations to come.

Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hyram and Sally Holland; paternal grandparents, George and Mary Roberts; father, Thomas Mack Roberts, Sr.; brother, Ricky Roberts; and grandson, Cason Cole Ducote.

He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Jeri Ann Davis Roberts; daughters and sons-in-law, Colten and Mandy Ducote, and Adam and Jessica Andre; mother, Sylvia Jean Roberts; grandchildren, Dawson Dunn, Brylee Doucet, Landry Ducote, Cameron Ducote, Presley Andre; and sister and brother-in-law, Mark and Theresa Winters; as well as innumerable nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
