Telly Griggs

Funeral service for Mr. Telly Savalas Griggs was held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 2 P.M. from Jerusalem Temple Church with Bishop Carl L. Overstreet officiating. Burial was in Donald Rest Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Griggs, 48, of Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS.  

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Griggs of Philadelphia, MS, one daughter, Telsha Griggs of Dallas, TX, his mother, Fannie Mae Griggs, two step children, Tyeshia Stribling and Jalen Patrick both of Philadelphia, MS, three grandchildren, and two sisters, Sharon and Ebony Griggs.

Pallbearers were Keshawn Coburn, Curtis McDonald, Tommy McDonald, Kristopher Coburn, Derrick Carter and Ced Eichelberger.
