Taylorsville ends Tornadoes’ season

The Philadelphia Tornadoes saw their 2020 football season come to an end last Friday night as they dropped a 47-6 decision to Taylorsville in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
The Tornadoes finished the season with a 4-5 record. That doesn’t include two games they had to forfeit while the team was quarantined by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taylorsville went up 19-0 in the first quarter. On the ensuing kickoffs after the third touchdown, Kadarius Calloway returned the kickoffs 80 yards for a touchdown. The extra point was no good and the Tornadoes trailed 19-6.
The Tartars took control of the game from and took the victory.
