A Taco Bell employee was arrested for assaulting a coworker at the restaurant, Tuesday evening, authorities say.

Rosheda Evans, 37, of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, Police Chief Eric Lyons said.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance at Taco Bell on Main Street, on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at approximately 6:45 p.m., according to Lyons.

Two employees on duty at the business were engaged in an argument when one employee filled a bucket with hot water and threw it on the other and began assaulting her with a mop handle.

Evans was arrested on scene and transported to the Winston County Jail. Lyons said the victim was transported by ambulance to the Neshoba General Emergency Room where she was treated for burns.

“We have no additional information on the severity of the injuries at this time,” Lyons said.
