Shorty Jenkins

A memorial service for Mr. Shorty Jenkins was held at 10 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Golden Grove Cemetery with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Jenkins, 75, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at his home in Neshoba County. 

He lived in the Tucker Community most of his life and was a carpenter. He was Pentecostal by Faith, and his hobbies were fishing and riding horses. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Jenkins and Ruby Bozeman Jenkins; daughter, Crystal Jenkins; son, Scottie Jenkins; sister, Faye Duncan; brothers, Joe, Buck, Clayton, Billy Ray Jenkins and Ricky Rogers. 

Survivors include his stepson, Johnny Fortenberry; sisters, Judy Bain (Ralph), Carolyn Townsend, Lisa Williamson; brothers, J.W. Jenkins (Ann), Robert Rogers; (3) grandsons; (1) great-grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.
