Maggie Taylor, Neshoba County’s Distinguished Young Women representative, finished in the Top 10 in competition in Meridian last week.

She is the daughter of Amy and Mark Taylor and a rising senior at Neshoba Central High School. She won the local Neshoba DYW competition in February and credits her DYW inspiration to her grandmother, Laura Kilpatrick (Neshoba County’s first Junior Miss), and her sister Emma, who finished Second Alternate in the 2020 DYW competition.

Laura Bailey, director of Neshoba County’s Miss Hospitality since 2011, has been chosen 2023 Miss Hospitality Volunteer of the Year.

She was chosen by the state director and staff based on her continued support of the program. "I was totally shocked when they called my name as Volunteer of the Year!" Bailey said. "I am thrilled to be part of this program. I love getting to know the new Miss Hospitality"
