Rep. Jackson indicted for stolen property

State Rep. Keith Jackson, who represents a portion of Neshoba County, was recently indicted by a Kemper County grand jury for receiving and possession of stolen property.
Jackson, a Democrat, is accused of using a stolen log trailer for his business. He was indicted with two others in the case.
Jackson is serving his first term in the state Legislature and lists his home as Preston. According to his biography on the House website, his occupation was in law enforcement.
Jackson was released from jail on a $2,500 bond and his trial has been set for May 28.
