Police investigating Old Mexico break-in

Philadelphia Police are searching for at least three suspects involved in a breaking and entering at a Line Avenue restaurant, according to Poice Chief Eric Lyons.

A breaking and entering at Old Mexico, 214 Line Avenue, is believed to have occurred on Saturday, July 1, at 2 a.m., Lyons said.

Video footage from the business showed three males breaking a window and entering the building, Lyons said. Upon entering the building, they attempted to disable the camera system.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the business. 

Lyons said investigators were, as of Monday morning, trying to acquire more camera footage in the area. 

“The case is currently under investigation and we will attempt to identify suspects with additional video footage when we have it,” Lyons said.
