Philadelphia man faces drug charge
A Philadelphia man was arrested with a firearm and ecstasy at a local casino late Saturday afternoon.
Lawrence Davis Jr., 32, of 256A Carver Avenue, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance believed to be ecstasy.
Jail records show that Davis also has a hold on him for an unspecified investigation.
On June 12, 2021, Neshoba County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the Golden Moon Casino to assist security with a subject that possessed a handgun and a controlled substance, Sheriff Eric Clark said.
Clark said that when deputies arrived on the scene they made contact with casino authorities and Davis and made the arrest.
