Funeral services for Mr. Pennington Ray Johnson Jr. were held at 2 PM Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Pearl River CERF Building with Bishop Karl Overstreet officiating. Interment was in Phillips Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 AM, Friday, December 22, 2023 at his home, 105 Rolling Hills Cove, Choctaw, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Johnson, 53, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his home. He lived in Pearl River Community most of his life and was an Apostolic by Faith. His hobbies were attending grandchildren’s games and watching football and basketball.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pennington Ray Johnson Sr., and Clara J. Dan.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Johnson; stepdaughters, Deanna Robinson, Krystal Robinson, Amelia Wallace; stepsons, Melton Robinson Jr., Jeremiah Robinson; sister, Jennifer Willis; brothers, Lamo Johnson, Kennington Johnson; (12) grandchildren.
