Peggy Young

Funeral service for Ms. Peggy Jean Young will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11 A.M. from Jerusalem Temple Church, with Bishop Stan Jones officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary M.B. Church Cemetery in Louisville. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Young, 66, of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Neshoba General Hospital.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Carter, R.L. Hickman, and Dexter Carter all of Philadelphia, MS, Reggie Carter of Atlanta, GA, and Seneque Jones of Mesa, AZ, four sisters, Sandra Carter, Hattie Triplett, Wavy Cartlidge, and Ramonia Carter, 22 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.  

Pallbearers are Randolph Hickmon, Terry Lyons, Freeman Carter, Arthur Moore, Pete Lyons and Howard Tucker.
