PAID POLITICAL AD/John Stokes seeks election as District 2 Supervisor
My name is John Stokes. I am an independent candidate for Supervisor District 2.
I am the son of the late Ramond G. Stokes and Betty R. Stokes. I have lived in the Coy Community of District 2 for 55 years.
I am married to Amy Crawford Stokes. I have a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University.
I worked as an Industrial Engineer for 10 years. I have owned a small business in Neshoba County. I have 10 years experience with the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
For the last 6 years I have been employed with Kemper County Road & Bridge Department.
I think my experience uniquely qualifies me to put more focus on our roads in order to attract new industry. Also we need to better support our law enforcement and our fire departments.
If elected, I pledge to work with the rest of the board to move the county forward.
