One airlifted in wreck on Highway 15 south

At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Mississippi 15 south Wednesday evening and airlifted, the authorities said.
Traffic was being diverted to county roads near the scene about five miles south of town, according to reports.
The seriously injured person was transported to Neshoba General and airlifted to a Jackson hospital, Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark said.
The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. near Road 2422, just north of the Linwood Fire Station at Road 438.
