Mill and overlay on Holland

Work continues on the milling and overlay of 1.3 miles of Mississippi 19 — or Holland Avenue in the city — at a cost of $715,969.30, according to MDOT.
The Contractor is Dickerson & Bowen, Inc.
The Notice to Proceed was July 9 and the project is expected to be completed by September.
The work is causing numerous traffic delays.
A Holland Avenue bridge replacement in front of the hospital is not expected to begin until January 2021, MDOT said this week.
