MEC Roadshow coming to Philadelphia Tuesday

The Mississippi Economic Council is bringing its Roadshow to Philadelphia and the historic Ellis Theatre next week.

Tim Moore, executive director of the Philadelphia-Neshoba Chamber of Commerce and Congress of Country Music board member, said the Roadshow involves the MEC — or the state chamber of commerce — traveling to communities like Philadelphia to inform the public about what is going on at the state level.

“They talk about what’s going on in legislative sessions, what the governor is doing that affects the state chamber and more important information,” Moore said. “The more people who sign up for this, the better.”

The MEC Roadshow is Tuesday, March 21, at the Ellis Theatre, 311 Byrd Avenue in Philadelphia.
