Martha Ann Marsh

Funeral services for Martha Ann Marsh were held on Tuesday October 24, 2023 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. David Richardson officiating. Visitation was held on Tuesday October 24, 2023 from 12 Noon until service time at McClain-Hays. Interment followed in Mt. Olive Cemetery (Stephenstown).

Martha Ann Marsh was born in Neshoba County on Oct. 31, 1938, and went to be with her lord on Oct. 19, 2023 at the Baptist hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist church in the Stephens Town community. She had worked at the Midland shirt factory in Union for many years. Mrs. Marsh was a longtime resident of Manatee County, Florida prior to moving back to Mississippi.

She is survived by sons, Keith Marsh (Kathy), Kevin Marsh; grandchildren, Lauren Flores (Antonio), Danielle Meyer (Justin), Craig Marsh (Tiffany), Jaice Marsh (Kristin); and several great grandchildren.

She is also survived by several sisters; Linda Watkins of Decatur, Bessie Ford of Philadelphia and Lessie Chunn of Philadelphia, a special friend, Pepper and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Preceded in death by husband, William H. Marsh; great grandson, Milo; parents, Pete and Minnie Rucker; sisters, Bertha Lee Rucker, Mattie Lou Creighton, Thelma Dean Gill and Bonnie Gene Rucker.

Pallbearers are Howard Holland, Jaice Marsh, Mike Hardy, Colby Sharp, Dwight Bane, Johnny Cutrer and David Wayne Collins.
