Margie Lewis Harrison

Graveside services for Margie Lewis Harrison were held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Coldwater Cemetery with Bro. Gary Morris officiating.

Ms. Harrison, 97, of Forest MS passed away on December 17, 2023.

She was a longtime resident of Forest, MS, where she and her family operated a Western Auto Store for 23 years. She loved cooking for her family and they felt this love, three times a day, for over 80 years.

She is survived by her children, Sarah Elam (Bill), Charlotte Cochran, Deborah Rushing (Johnny), Mary Charles Dickens (Britt) and Pat Harrison; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Frank Willis. 

Ms. Harrison was preceded in death by husband of 69 years, Charles Harrison; daughter, Brenda McNeil; grandson, Scott Elam; parents William Lester Lewis and Lula Lee Stribling Lewis; siblings, Cecil Lee Lewis, Hazel Gwendolin Lewis, William Albert Lewis and Bonnie Glenn Lewis Milling.
