A Frog Level man faces aggravated assault charges after his roommate said the man swung a machete at him and cut him during an argument, Philadelphia Police said.

Officers were dispatched to the Frog Level RV Park at 6 p.m. July 2 in response to a report of a disturbance and assault, said Philadelphia Police Det. Bobby Pattillo.

“Once on scene they came across a male complainant who advised that his roommate had swung a machete at him during an argument that became physical and cut him on his left hand and the bridge of his nose,” Pattillo said, adding the victim was transported to Neshoba General.

Pattillo said the investigation identified Bryant Bebber, 39, of Lot 39, Philadelphia, as a suspect.

“Bebber of Philadelphia was discovered inside a nearby RV with the weapon used in the assault in his possession,” Pattillo said. “He was subsequently charged with Aggravated Assault.”

Bebber’s bond was set at $10,000.
