A Philadelphia man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man in the driveway of a Robinhood Circle residence one evening last week, the authorities said.

The man, Corderro Tyckosky Seales, 34, 105 St Francis Drive, has been charged with attempted murder in this case and booked into the Winston County Jail, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.

On Jan. 11, at about 6 p.m., Philadelphia PD officers responded to Robinhood Circle where a report of a stabbing was reported, Lyons said.

Upon arrival, officers noticed what turned out to be a 44-year-old black male in the driveway of the Robinhood Circle residence suffering from several stab wounds to the back, he said.

EMS arrived and transported the victim to Neshoba General hospital.

Lyons said the victim has been released from the hospital and “is doing fine.”

Investigators soon identified Seales as a suspect. Seales and the victim were engaged in a verbal altercation prior to the stabbing, Lyons said.

“Officers searched throughout the night for Seales and did not locate him,” Lyons said.

The following day, information obtained in the investigation suggested that Seales was possibly at a Pendleton Square Apartments residence.

Officers and deputies arrived at the apartment building around 1 p.m., where Seales was taken into custody without incident, Lyons said.
