Main Street mural event set for Tuesday

The “Flowers” mural at 313 Main Street will come to life Tuesday, July 16, at 9 a.m. where girls from the Boys and Girls Club will perform.
The girls will dance, covered in fluff and sparkle, and be crowned “Princess for the Day.”
The celebration is inspired by Philadelphia’s Cinderella of Country Music, Connie Smith.
Following their short performance, the group will process across the street to the “Castle” where they will enjoy royal refreshments, and students will learn about Smith’s extraordinary rise to success and will participate in special activities to help the students begin their own journey to learn about themselves and their own dreams.
