Funeral service for Mrs. Lillie Griffin Rush was held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11 A.M. from Mt. Sinai M.B. Church in Preston, with Pastor Roscoe Tucker officiating. Burial was at Bloomfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Preston, MS. Beck Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rush, 97, of Preston, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Mississippi Care Center of Dekalb.
She is survived by her children, Nathan Rush of Dekalb, MS, and Evans Rush of Preston, MS, one brother, Melvin Houston of Decatur, GA, one great niece, Camisha Windham, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
