Leon Baxstrum

Funeral service for Mr. Leon Baxstrum will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11 A.M. from Jerusalem Temple Church with Bishop Cliffton Jones officiating. Burial will be in Donald Rest Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Baxstrum, 89, of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at his residence.  

He is survived by his children, Belinda B. Harris and Lynette King both of Atlanta, GA, Sherry Baxstrum, Markelius Baxstrum, Darrius Thames and Kiara Baxstrum all of Philadelphia, MS, two sisters, Nellie Ola Hathorn and Gewndolyn Chatman, four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. .   

Pallbearers are Tim Boler, Shaun Seales, Von Carter, Towasky Graham, Jimmy Riddle and Sherwood Smith.
