The Ladies Secret Sister Reveal party was held at the Church of Christ on Saturday, December 3.

The guests had fun playing 3 different games which were arranged by Kelly Little. A brunch menu of delicious finger food which was brought by the ladies was served from a gaily decorated table. They sang a Christmas carol and gathered around a silver tree to exchange gifts and find out who their secret sister was for the year.

The Annual Trees of Merrehope in Merdian has a new tree this year! Kim Mills Kilpatrick and Dawn Lea Mars Chalmers were invited to do a tree for Kademi. Their tree represents Philadelphia and Neshoba County's diverse culture of the arts including music, crafts, entertainment, and art. It looks as though they did a beautiful job!

Dawn Lea suggests that people take some time to go and see Trees at Merrehope. She remembers when her mother, Dawn Mars, took her as a child and she was always in awe. She also went with her Girl Scout Troop and has many cherishedmemories of the visits.

Twelve years ago, Pete Peebles and Jack Butler met when they played on the same soccer team. Their friendship grew and has endured through their years at Leake Academy where they are students. Both boys have an entrepreneurial spirit and were interested in starting a business together as partners. They discussed potential ideas and decided to give candle making a try. From this idea, J & P Candles was born. Their production site is in their mothers' kitchens. Amber Hendrix Butler and Ashley Burt Peebles are happy to have their sons engaged in such a creative enterprise which requires a lot of work and time. The candles are currently sold on Facebook, Instagram, ChrisMont, and the Neshoba County General Hospital Gift Shop. Congratulations to Jack and Pete on their successful business venture!
