Precious Price Caroline Waltman was baptized last Sunday during the morning worship service at The First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Tommy Jennings, pastor, presided over the ceremony.

Caroline wore her mother’s christening gown which was made for her mother, Cecily Kate Price Waltman, by her grandmother, Brenda Matthews. It was an exquisite, long, white gown trimmed with rows of lace and tucks. Short puffed sleeves with lace and tucks finished the gown. A white bonnet that framed her beautiful little face completed Caroline's ensemble.

Caroline is the daughter of Lane Poole and Cecily Kate Price Waltman. Her grandparents are Cecil and Kim Price and Sheryl and Gerald Waltman. Her great grandmother is Brenda Matthews. Since it was also Lane’s birthday, the family went to Old Mexico to celebrate both special occasions. Congratulations!

Exciting news!  Mary Mosley Pickering’s wish has been granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation! She was celebrated by family and friends at Old Mexico last Friday when her Wish was revealed by the Foundation.

A very strong hint was given by huge Mickey and Minnie Mouse figures below a banner that said Make A Wish! A cake frosted in white with the words, "Mary your Wish has been granted!!! You're on your way to Disney World!!" She was so excited!

What a wonderful trip for this precious child and her sweet family. Her parents, Blake and Jessica Pickering, and brother, Jackson, will be going along. Jessica will give more details later! So very happy for this family!
