Congratulations to Erica Clemons-Moore who was recognized as one of Meridian Life Top 20 Under 40 Outstanding Business Professionals.
Erica has a degree in Public Relations from Mississippi State University and a Masters Degree in Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is currently employed as the Director of Public Relations, Guest Services, Internal Communication and Special Projects for the Pearl River Resort.
She is the proud wife of Captain Jonathan Moore of the Philadelphia Fire Department. They have two daughters, Eriane Aalyah and Brooklyn Olivia. She is mom to a bonus son, Jontrell Moore. Her parents are LeRoy and Stephanie Clemons.

Exciting news! HARDY (Michael Hardy) received 3 CMA awards nominations. He was nominated for New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, "Sand in My Boots", with Ashley Gorley and Josh Osborne, and Musical Event of the Year, "Beers on Me" by Dierks Bentley with Breland and Hardy. Congratulations!

An adorable baby girl, Whitleigh Hayes VanDevender, arrived on August 30, weighing 8 pounds and 3 ounces of sweetness. Her parents are Bryan and Leigh Ann VanDevende. Her big sister is Allie Branton who is delighted with her baby sister. Her Philadelphia grandmother is Peggy Hayes VanDevender. Congratulations!

Robert and Cathy Tolbert have been Chicago Cubs fans for many years. As time went by, he and Cathy added their daughters, Jill and Robin to the family fan club. As time went by, they inducted their spouses, Mark Luber(Jill) and Randy McClellan(Robin) to the group. Each of the girls added their children to the mix and the Cubs fan club grew. Burgin added her boyfriend, Stephen Lombard, and there are now 11 members.
On Labor Day weekend, the entire family fan club attended a Cubs game in Bush Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri wearing their Cubs T-shirts with the emblem displayed across the front. The group looked great as they cheered for the Cubs!

The Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi held their Women of Distinction 2022 Induction Ceremony in Flowood on Thursday, September 8, 2022. This annual award celebrates women of courage, confidence, and character.
This year's event was held in the Sheraton Flowood The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center in Flowood. It was presented by Regions. Pat Thomasson was one of five women honored with this prestigious award. She certainly has displayed all of the three attributes in her past and present life. It is a well deserved honor and I am so very happy for her. Congratulations!
