Congratulations to Jarquez Hunter who made his first college touchdown during his first football game for the Auburn War Eagles!  He ran for a 94 yard touchdown late in the game.

Jarquez, a running back, who wears #27 on his jersey, received the game ball for this game!  It is a great honor given to the player for his performance during a game. He stepped up from the second team after the first team running back was injured.  He led the team in rushing with eight carries for 147 yards and a touchdown.

Auburn coach, Bryan Harsin, summarized Jarquez's performance in three simple words.  "He can go! " he said.

A joyous event for the Richard McKay family happened on September 12 when they received the news that their long awaited baby girl had finally arrived!  Richard and Glynn went to the hospital to meet their new daughter. It had not been an easy journey through the adoption process, but their faith was strong and they trusted that their heart's desire would be fulfilled.

She came home on Tuesday, September 14 where she was welcomed by her two big brothers, Fletcher and Isaac.  She has been named Anna Margaret McKay and is a beautiful baby.  Her Philadelphia grandparents are Don and Sharon McKay who are thrilled to have another grandchild. Congratulations and best wishes!

Best wishes for many more years together
