Good news all of the way from Arlington Heights, Illinois!  Skye Sonnabend, daughter of Marc and Regan Stribling Sonnabend, is a member of the Inaugural Class of Female Eagle Scouts.  Her parents are so very proud of her and the character, perseverance, and leadership that she has demonstrated in her everyday life that contributed to her achieving this honor.

As her Eagle project, she designed, built and planted a vegetable garden at Viator House of Hospitality which benefited Catholic Charities families. Skye appreciated the assistance of some amazing volunteers who helped make her project a reality. What an awesome accomplishment. Her Philadelphia grandmother is Lynda Stribling who is also very proud of her granddaughter. Congratulations!

All dogs go to heaven so they say. Boo is home now and chasing chipmunks and squirrels through the grass and trees. His cataracts are gone and his shiny brown eyes can see again. His little black nose shines from a face full of fluffy white hair which has grown back all over his body including a waggy tail like a white feathery plume. He can sit in the sunshine and enjoy the beautiful place where there is no pain or sorrow and no tears fall God bless you Boo. We loved you absolutely and completely. Rest in peace, January 7, 2021.
