Last week, an outstanding Neshoba Central High School Rocket athlete, Brodie Ben, signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic careers at Mississippi College this fall.  He is a member of the NCHS Class of 2024 and is the son of Choctaw Tribal Chief Cyrus and Tarita Ben. His sisters, Eden and Selah Ben, were also present at the signing including his teammates, coaches, friends, and a great number of his fellow students who came to show their support. Congratulations!

Deep South Spirit The Glow Tour 2024 in Biloxi offered the perfect showcase for some of our younger local talented gymnasts to present their performances with great success! 

The Red Squad won 1st Place Champions Mini Allstar Prep while the Blue Squad won 1st Place Youth Allstar Prep and GRAND CHAMPIONS for the highest scores in AllSTAR PREP DIVISION!  

Congratulations to these 35 girls who worked so hard to achieve their honors and to their families and friends who supported them!

The Philadelphia Elementary School PTO will hold its annual Beauty & Beau Pageant on March 9 in the elementary gym. Most Beautiful & Most Handsome & the People's Choice are the categories. Contact Mrs. Lyon for more information. This is a fundraiser that helps the Philadelphia PTO fund their school help projects.

Neshoba Central High School has announced its 2024-2025 Varsity Cheerleaders. Congratulations to Colton Riley White who graduated from Basic Training in the United States Army recently! He will be home to visit his family for a two-week leave and will then be stationed with the U.S. Army Airborne Division in Kentucky. His proud parents are Chad and Sheena White.

Trinity Baptist Church Pastor Jason Willis recognized five members of their youth who received Rocket Awards at Neshoba Central Rocket Awards Day last week. The pastor at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Father Jofin George, celebrated the 15th Anniversary of his Ordination as a Catholic priest on Feb. 13. He expressed his gratitude to all of those who have supported and encouraged him along his journey and most of all, to God for His unwavering guidance and grace. We are so glad you answered His call. Congratulations and best wishes for many more years to “love and serve.”
