Jo Beth Tolbert

Funeral services for Ms. Jo Beth Tolbert was held 10 AM Saturday, April 29, 2023, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens and Rev. Jim Daniels officiating. Interment was in    Bloomfield Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.  

Ms. Tolbert, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Neshoba General Hospital. She lived in Neshoba County most of her life. She was a member of First Church of God. Her hobbies were crocheting, gardening and she loved flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Tolbert; parents, Robert Kilpatrick and Effie Spence Kilpatrick; daughter, Leigh Ann Fortenberry, son, Mark Thrash; sisters, Irene Faile, Gladys Henderson, Effie Eldridge; granddaughter, Kayleigh Fortenberry; grandson, John Dunn; great-grandson, Ethan Moore.

Survivors include daughters, Robin Fortenberry of Philadelphia, JoJo Herring (Johnie) of Madison; (9) grandchildren; (25) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
