Jimmie Houston Pearson

Graveside service for Mrs. Jimmie Houston Pearson was held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Emmanuel Cemetery. No Visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pearson, 82, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home. She was a member of God’s House. Mrs. Pearson was an artist and enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto Samuel Houston and Connie Lum Houston; sisters, Sarah Houston Chapman and Connie Houston Strange.

Survivors include her husband whom she married Sept. 12, 1975, Charles Pearson; daughters, Kari (Rev. Scott) Boatner, Lisa Kay Pearson McMahan; son, Todd McMahan; sister, Linda Houston Russell; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Boatner, Micah Boatner, Ben Thames, Brandon McMahan, Jordon McMahan; 7 great-grand-children, William Boatner, John Scott Boatner, Joseph Boatner, Hannah Boatner, Raelyn McMahan, Caleb Thames, Reid Thames; several nieces and nephews.
