Funeral service for Ms. Jeanette Joyner Wall was 2 PM Sunday, October 1, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Jack Foster officiating. Visitation was 1-2 PM Sunday, October 1, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Ms. Wall, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at her home in Union, MS where she lived most of her life. Her hobbies were watching hallmark movies, jewelry TV channels, and taking care of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband’s Charles Alawine, Stanley Wall; parents, Walker and Lora Joyner; sons, Robert and Michael Wall; sister, Margie Stallings; grandson, Nic Townsend.

Survivors include her daughters, Joan Grimes (Tony), Lynn Townsend (Scotty), Kathy Dorsett (Will); sisters, Mary Ann Smith; brothers, James Joyner, Jerry Joyner (Nancy); daughter-in-law, Sandra Wall (12) grandchildren; (24) great-grandchildren; (7) great-great-grandchildren, and special friends, Paula Doggett and Hazel Sennett.
