Graveside services were held Monday, March 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
James Prentiss "Jimmy" Thomas passed away on March 3, 2023.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Neshoba County and spent the early part of his life in Laurel where he graduated from R. H. Watkins High School. After graduation he moved back home to Neshoba County.
Survivors include a daughter, Jamie Lee Thomas of Philadelphia; son, John Abe Thomas of Philadelphia; his mother, Gwen Thomas of Laurel; sisters, Kay McNiel and Carolyn Dean, both of Houston, TX; eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Clark Thomas, and his father, James S. Thomas.
