James Lee Hale

Funeral service for Mr. James Lee Hale was held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:30 A.M. from the chapel of Beck Funeral Home, with the chapel ministry officiating. Burial was at the Henderson Ridge M.B. Church Cemetery in Preston. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hale, 74, of Dekalb, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Oaks Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Meridian.  

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hale, 14 siblings, Theotis Hale, Sylvia Tanksley, Doris Grant, Henry Tanksley, Jr., Ethel Lee Tanksley, Sharlene Tanksley, Bettye Hailey, Lamont Tanksley, Angela Tanksley, Antoinette Victor, Joseph Tanksley, Sr., Viola McGuire, and Sherry Tanksley.  

His brothers served as pallbearers.
