James Berlin Holton

Memorial service for Mr. James Berlin Holton was held 2 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Sunrise Cemetery in Noxapater, MS, with Bro. Ricky Wilcher and Bro. Andrew Phillips officiating. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Holton, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at his home in Noxapater, MS. He lived most of his life in Winston Co. He was in the Army and was also an automobile mechanic and body repair man. He attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee Holton and Altha Ophelia Miles Holton.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Yarbrough Holton of Noxapater, MS; son, James Jerome Holton (Eric) of Houston, TX; sisters, Mary Ruth Thomas of Noxapater and Freda Joyce Rhodes of LA; brother, Jesse Gene Holton of Jackson, MS; several nieces and nephews.
