Ida Overcash Shults

Funeral services were on Friday, February 3, 2023, from McClain-Hays Chapel with Father Augustine Palamatan officiating.  Burial followed in Holy Rosary Cemetery.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Shults, 89, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023. 

She was a native of Basile, LA, and a former resident of the Coldwater Community in Neshoba County.  Mrs. Shults attended Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy Jarzyna of Flatwoods, LA, and Lisa Morgan of Hattiesburg, MS; sons, Greg Manuel of Hemphill, TX, and David Overcash of Gurnee, IL; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Fontenot of Mamou, LA, and Laura Thaggard of Decatur, MS. 

Mrs. Shults was preceded in death by husbands, Wesley Manuel, Ray Overcash, and Elmer Shults; parents, Demart and Louise Johnson; two sisters; six brothers.
