A long-running show on the History Channel show is looking for “historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable characters and their collections” as they film in Mississippi in February, producers say.

Joshua Kerlin, associate producer with American Pickers, said this will be a return trip to Mississippi for the show.

“The American Pickers TV Show is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure,” Kerlin said. “If you or someone you know has a unique item, story to tell, and is ready to sell...we would love to hear from you.”

Kerlin noted the show does not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or anything open to the public.

American Pickers has been running since it aired in January of 2010. It is a documentary series that explores the world of antique “picking” on The History Channel.

“The hit show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques,” Kerlin said. “They are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable Characters and their collections.”

Kerlin said anyone interested is asked to please send them your name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos toamericanpickers@cineflix.com or call (646) 493-2184 for Facebook, visit @GotAPick.
