Hazel Robinson Burnett

Graveside services for Hazel Robinson Burnett will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Cedarlawn Cemetery with Rev. Brian Weir officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Burnett, 88, of Philadelphia died Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Hazel was a resident of Philadelphia all of her life. She graduated from Philadelphia High School and worked at the Neshoba County Health Department and was a volunteer at the Neshoba County Nursing Home.

Hazel was the mother of four children; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Tingle (Hoot); several nieces, nephews and their families.

Ms. Burnett was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Burnett; daughter, Cindy Burnett Chester; sons, Bill and Steve Burnett; brothers, Demp, and Marvin Robinson; sister, Myrtle Ruth Polk.
