Hall leads Mississippi championship win

Cade Hall, senior at Neshoba Central and Reid Hall, junior at Neshoba Central, were invited to be a part of Team Mississippi and represented our state in the 17u Dixie Pre-Major World Series in Guntersville,Ala.

The Mississippi  team won the World Series with a 7-1 record. They advanced to the final round to face an undefeated Louisiana team. Team Mississippi defeated Louisiana in 2 games.  Reid Hall was the starting pitcher and got the win in game one of the championship series with a score of 9-8. Cade Hall played a vital role on defense robbing team Louisiana with a line drive catch in centerfield to end the game.

 In game 2 of the championship series Cade helped his team pull ahead with a two-run homer and came in as a relief pitcher and help captured the last three outs of the game defeating Louisiana 15-0.

Team Mississippi was comprised of 12 members from several high schools and coached by Chris Schuster from Ethel.
