The Red Cross "knitting year" closes January 30th. For this reason Mrs. McCluer would like for all those who have thread out to finish their garments this month so that they may be included in the yearly report.

The Junior Red Cross is knitting an afghan out of scrap thread, so if you have any scraps of wool thread in any color, please give them to Mrs. Joe Turner and they will be appreciated.
