Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music has an outstanding lineup set to perform at the Ellis Theater heading into the latter part of the year.

“Dolly coming to town set the standard high,” Stuart said. “However, there’s a variety of Superstars, legends, country, and rock and roll Hall of Famers coming to town to play the Ellis for Season Two. These are exciting days in Philadelphia, with more to come.”

Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives will play on Friday, Oct. 13 for the first night of Ham Jam weekend followed by a Street Festival After Party. Showtime is at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $65 to $150.

The second night of Ham Jam weekend will host Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Roger McGuinn with special guests Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives. McGuinn, a co-founder of the influential rock band The Byrds, will bring his legendary songs and stories of his acclaimed career to town on Saturday, October 14. Showtime is at 8:00 p.m., and tickets range from $65-$150.

England’s own Herman’s Hermits, starring Peter Noone, is slotted for Saturday, Oct. 28. Noone is a classic 60s British Pop Invasion artist with over a dozen Top Ten Hits. Showtime is at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $65 to $150.

On Sunday, Oct. 29, the American Patchwork Quartet will be reclaiming the Immigrant Soul of American Roots Music at 8 p.m. This quartet is an ensemble of exceptionally talented musicians from different cultural backgrounds. Tickets range from $30 to $75.

November shows will kick off with a visual art and puppetry performance of “The Rainbow Fish” presented by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia on Nov. 1. This show features a variety of charming school and sea creatures who admire the famous Rainbow Fish. There will be a 9:30 a.m., show and an 11 a.m., show and each will last for 60 minutes with no intermission. It is very interactive for kids and families to enjoy, and tickets are $10.

Bobby Rush, two-time Grammy award winner and Blues Hall of Famer, will perform on Friday, Nov. 10 for his 90th Birthday Celebration. Showtime is at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $50 to $100.

Ashley McBryde is slotted for Sunday, Nov. 12 on her The Devil I Know Tour. McBryde will bring raw lyrics and powerful vocals for a night of country music prowess.  Showtime is at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $65 to $150.

Closing out the month of November, The Astounding Isaacs will perform on Saturday, Nov. 18 for a Thanksgiving Concert. The Isaac’s musical style is a fusion of various genres, weaving together bluegrass, gospel, country, and acoustic folk elements. Showtime is at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $50 to $100.
