Elizabeth "Tina" Carter

Gravesides services for Ms. Elizabeth "Tina" Carter will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Donald Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.

She was called home on September 6, 2023, at 72 years old in Newport News, Virginia with her family by her side.

 She was born to the late Ira Bernice and Wash Hudson ‘W.H.’ Triplett

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Linda Ann Buckley.

She is survived by her two sisters Iris (Willie) Roberts, Barbara Ann Triplett and Brother-in-law, Davis Buckley; son Patrick (Tracy) Patterson, stepdaughter Deborah Carter; four grandchildren Ashley, Patrick Jr, KP and Kenetria ‘Nikipooh’; six great-grandchildren Kamariah, Kyleigh, Kayce, Destiny, Dristen and Dalia; long-time best friends Mildred Ann Bailey and Jacquelyn Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and dear friends.
