Effie K. Eldridge
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Len Wedgeworth officiating. Burial followed in Golden Grove Cemetery.
Effie Eldridge, 89, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023.
She was a native of Neshoba County and lived in Rolling Fork, MS, for 30 years before returning to Neshoba County. Mrs. Eldridge was a retired registered nurse and worked for the Mississippi Department of Health. She attended Crossroads Baptist Church.
Mrs. Eldridge is survived by daughters, Amy Nixon of Evergreen, CO, Renee’ Proctor of Trenton, TN; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jo Beth Tolbert of Philadelphia, MS.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Effie Kilpatrick; husband, Arvis Eldridge; son, Robert Eldridge; and numerous siblings.
Pallbearers were Kevin Belk, Jessen Fahey, Jeff Henderson, Garrett Posey, Michael Reynolds, Mark Rickles, Chauncey West, and Max West.
