Early morning search warrant nets drug trafficking charges

Three people were arrested on felony drug charges after an investigation led to a search warrant over the weekend in the Zephryhill community.

On May 13, 2023, Neshoba County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at 10052 Road 157 just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday.

The search warrant uncovered about 5 ounces of methamphetamine, 1 gram of cocaine, 5 ounces of marijuana, a Taurus .9mm handgun, a scoped Marlin .22 WMR rifle, and $2,292.00 in cash, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark.

Deputies located items consistent with a drug distribution operation in the residence, including digital scales, baggies, pipes, torches, and a communications system used to control deliveries.

The following were arrested, according to Clark:

• Kendra S. Henderson, 10052 Road 157, charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

• Patrick L. Morris, 10052 Road 157, trafficking methamphetamine, conspiracy to commit a crime,  possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm (.9mm Taurus) by a felon.

• Sam Proctor, Jr., 10052 Road 157, trafficking methamphetamine, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
